Vicki Lynn Thompson, 57, died at home Monday, October 13, 2008. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.

To the Family of Vicki Thompson:
I hope you all know what a jewel you had as a mother,mother-in law,Grandma,Aunt,Sister, and last but not least Friend. She wore many hats in her life and she wore them well. She was smart but always patient with those who might not be blessed that way.Her compassion was grate. She was wise. I always knew if I had a problem if I brought it to her she would give me good advise.
She loved Lewis more than life. Her grandchildren were so awesome in her eyes. I remember when the first one was born,she was so excited. I pray for your family that God will always let you remember how very special she was. People rarely meet a friend in their life more than once who has that specialness about them. Vicki was that one in my life.May God Bless and keep you and make the road ahead without her not as hard as it could be.
