Doris Brown

Doris L. Brown, 82, died Sunday, October 12, 2008, at Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines. Doris was born on October 19, 1925 to Dale and Leota Mullins in Lacona, IA.
Doris worked as a purchasing clerk for NAPA auto parts. She enjoyed crafts and bowling and won many ribbons at the Iowa State Fair for crocheting.
She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Gibson and Virginia Fedson both of Des Moines; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Nial and Lial Mullins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave.; burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit with family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fleur Heights Care Center for their Recreation Center, or the charity of their choice.
