Daniel Roth

Danny Roth, 59, died Friday, October 10, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10am Monday, October 13th at New Life Lutheran Church in Norwalk. A visitation will be held from 1-8pm with family present from 6-8pm Sunday, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.
Danny was born May 11, 1949 in Waterloo, Iowa to Keith and Maxine Roth. He worked for 25 years for K-G men’s store, 15 years for RCC Western Wear and was currently employed with Flummerfelt Homes. He was a PFC in the Army and served from 1969-1971. Danny was a member of the American Legion and New Life Lutheran Church. He loved golf, was an avid Hawkeye fan but most of all loved spending time with his family.
Danny was an encouragement and joy to all he met. He touched so many lives with his humor and caring disposition and truly signed his name on each one’s heart.
Danny is survived by his loving wife Rachel; his children Rehgan (Toney) Bass and Jamison Roth; his father Keith Roth; his sisters Peggy (Ted) Weaver and Brenda Roth; his 6 grand doggies and his 2 grand kitties. He was preceded in death by his mother Maxine Roth.
