John Joseph Timothy Watson

John Joseph Timothy Watson, 100, passed on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Union Park Health Services. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2008 and 11 to 12 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
John was born March 28, 1908 to Joseph and Maggie Watson. He was a butcher at Iowa Packing and worked in housekeeping at Iowa Lutheran until his retirement in 1970.
John is survived by his children, Doris Baldwell, Carolyn O’Donnell, Josephine Watson, Timothy Watson, Lacinda Gyles, Thomas Watson and Charlotte Torrey.; 24 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris; son, Kenneth; and granddaughters, Doris and Tammy Frondle.
