Service Details
Terri Stout, 51, died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Bright Kavanagh House after a two year battle with lung cancer. A Celebration of Life and gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2008 with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. A private family inurnment will be held at Harper Cemetery in Redfield, IA.
Terri was born December 25, 1956 in Des Moines. She was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and graduated from Lincoln High School. Terri worked for Principle for 31 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Terri is survived by her mother, Kathryn Stout; and many other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Stout.
Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Lifeline or the Animal Rescue League.

Please accept my sympathy on the loss of Terri and I hope that time will lessen the loss. I worked with Terri for many years at the Principal Financial Group and found her to be a great person with a big heart. She is fondly remembered here. I am sending a memorial contribution to the Animal Rescue League in her name - everyone knew Terri loved animals, especially cats and I am sure the animals at the ARL will benefit from Terri's memory.
