Stanley Hews

Stanley "Skipper" Hews, 59, went to be with his Savior Thursday, December 28, 2006 while at the Kavanaugh House.
Stan was born May 5, 1947 in Seattle, WA. He excelled in athletics at East High and University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. He went into the navy and served in Viet Nam. He loved to play chess. He attended Valley Evangelical Free Church in West Des Moines.
He is survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters, all of the Des Moines area, Danny (Laurie), Fred, Suzy, Willow Magneson (James), and John; ten nieces and nephews and their families; two aunts and one uncle.
Visitation is 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Valley Evangelical Free Church, 4343 Fuller Road, West Des Moines and the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
