Michael Dean Berry

Michael Dean Berry, 55, of Des Moines went home to be with the Lord December 7, 2018.

Mike is survived by his wife, Ronda; stepson, Jesse (Alyson) Millard; granddaughters, Rylee, Alexis and Caitlin; dad, Gerrel (Deb) Berry; mother-in-law, Evelyn Tolkan; sisters, Kim (Roger) Kline, Susie Lea, Mary (Rich) Fabbro, Bridgette (Roger) Mueller, Gerrelyn and Ginger Berry; brothers, Sherman Berry, Terry Ferrin, Kevin (Sandy) Ferrin, Joe (Michelle) Ferrin, and John Kroupa; sisters-in-law, Michelle and Stephanie Tolkan; as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his biological parents, Linda Berry and Joseph Kroupa; brothers, Jack and Joe; father-in-law, Ron Tolkan and brother-in-law, Randy Tolkan.

Mike was a loving son, husband and grandfather who was also devoted to his faith and God. He served in the US Navy and was currently employed at AE Dairy.

Services will begin with a visitation on Friday, December 14th at 12:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to his wife.
