We had the privilege of taking an adult computer class from John in pretty much the beginning for us in the early 90's. He was such an outstanding instructor and we never saw him that he didn't visit with us. So intelligent and friendly. Our thoughts and sympathy with you at this time. John was liked by everyone.

Linda, you and all your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. There are so many memories that make me smile when remembering working with John, taking classes together, and solving the world's problems over coffee in the teacher's lounge. He was a great guy and a good friend. Please keep in touch.

It is truly a gifted teacher who could make Government class interesting! Mr. Stroeh was a gifted teacher, knowledgeable and patient, and I feel blessed to have been one of his students. His work made his students lives richer; he was among the best at West Monona. My deepest sympathy is extended to his family.

I had John as a teacher, then was lucky enough to be his neighbor. I enjoyed the talks by the garden when he would wander down to see what I was doing and just want to visit. Rest well and I hope there is a lucky slot machine where your headed!

I was one of John's first Students at WM. He was a Great Teacher. So good natured. We used to pick His Yellow Volkswagen up and put it on the sidewalk. He always got a kick out of that. So sorry to hear this.
