On Monday, December 3, 2018, Sally Tuomi, a loving grandmother, mother, sister, and daughter passed away at the age of 66 years.

Sally was always a fighter with a big heart. Though she was limited in sight and later mobility she continued to advocate for herself and others with such conditions. She delighted people with her wit, warm conversations, and most of all her love of family and faith.

Sally will be forever remembered and is survived by her children, Shannon (Billie) and Samuel (Christopher), by her parents William and Annamae Goodrich, and by her brother Bill (Shelley) and sisters, Pam (Steve), Debbie and Karen (Jim), and her ex-husband and father of two children Stephen Tuomi. Sally will also be forever remembered by her grandchildren Bill Jr, Dalton, Delia, Emily, Maggie, Tabitha, Zoe. She is also fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

A celebration of Sally’s life will be held on Friday, December 14, at 4:00 p.m., at Grace Church, 4200 East 25th Street, Des Moines, Iowa, Room 204. A fellowship will immediately follow the service.
