Emilio Esteban Garcia

Emilio Esteban Garcia was born February 25, 2002. He passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He is survived by his mother, Maria del Carmen Garcia of Des Moines, IA; father, Miguel Angel Rodriguez Alvarez of Mexico; grandmother, Maria de Jesus Sanchez of Des Moines, IA; grandfather, Jose Luis Garcia of Mexico; brother and sisters, Cesar Garcia, Ana Avila and Guadalupe Avila; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Emilio loved skateboarding, music and watching videos. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and spending time shopping with his mom and his favorite place to eat was Panda Express. He loved playing video games with his sisters and he always let them choose their favorites.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church, 1271 E 9th Street, Des Moines with burial at Masonic Cemetery, Des Moines.
