Sally Ann Douglas was born December 1, 1936 to John and Frances (Cardamon) Lloyd and passed away November 30, 2018 at Prairie Hills Des Moines Retirement Community, 52 minutes from her 82nd birthday.
Sally retired in 2002 from Ceretti’s where she had been a bartender for over 15 years. She enjoyed sports, cards, her cat and dog and spending time with family and friends.
Sally is survived by her children, Kim (Tim) Blakeman and Kurt (Mona) Douglas; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John and Joe Lloyd; and son, Kevin Douglas.
Family will greet friends from 5 pm to 7 pm Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the donor’s choice in loving memory of Sally.

To our family: We are in Arizona with our son Craig who is in rehab recovering from a hit and run incident. We are sorry for missing saying goodby to our cousin Sally. We will miss her contagious smile & laugh but will keep her in our thoughts and daily prayers.
