As like many others, I came to know him through Tae Kwon Do. I will always remember the times when he would sit next to me and take the time to talk and listen to me - I am humbled and grateful that I met him and got to know him better through the years. My deepest sympathy to Marilyn and the family, he was truly a great person.

Master Samuelson is a genuine gentleman in a time when there are few. A master craftsman with natural materials, he is meticulous and exacting. With the same sensibility, he worked very hard to teach his Tae Kwon Do students to develop extraordinary grace and power with an economy of effort in every strike, block and punch! His kindness and concern for all are his most endearing traits. He will be missed!

Our deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked for Marvin after high school graduation, through my university years & first years of marriage. I credit Marvin for starting me on a journey that sparked my interests and provided skills & experience that I continue to use nearly 50 years later. I will remember him always, especially each time I pick up & use the hammer and circular saw I first purchased under Marvin's guidance and still use regularly today.

While I came to know Marvin through taekwondo, many knew him much the same as I did as a teacher, mentor and friend. One of my first contacts with Master Samuelson was watching him pound a nail through a board at a taekwondo demonstration WITH HIS FIST! WOW! My condolences to Marilyn, Brian and the rest of family and friends.

Marvin (aka Master Samuelson to many of us) was an amazing man. Humble yet strong in many ways. I can only imagine how many lives he has touched over his lifetime. Just in his martial arts experience alone the list has to be very long. I will miss visiting with him at the farm, practicing TKD and social times around town. He was a great man and a true friend to me and I will greatly miss our conversations together. Prayers to Marilyn and to all who have been touched by this wonderful man.
