Ivabell Adreon

Ivabell Adreon, youngest of four siblings of Sam and Elda (Lemke) Miller, was born in Bode, Iowa in 1922 and passed away after a long life on November 27, 2018. She married Glen A. Adreon on June 14, 1938, and they had four children.
Ivabell is survived by her son, Glen Adreon (Donna), 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother and two sisters; her husband, Glen; sons, James and Rollin Adreon; daughter, Judy Amodeo; grandson, Merle Amodeo.
Ivabell lived a full life as a housewife. She always took pride in her flower garden and was an active member of the Ackworth Garden Club for many years. There were several trips to Arizona for the winters that were the highlight of the year!
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December, 4, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with services to take place at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, in Des Moines. Following the burial there will be a luncheon held at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the Hospice of the Midwest, 9203 Northpark Drive, Johnston, Iowa 50131.
Her family is appreciative for the excellent care provided by Hospice of the Midwest and the Carlisle Care Center.

So sorry for the loss of your mom. Stan has many fond memories of her when you guys were in high school. She always made him feel welcome and like another son. Hope you can find comfort that she's in a better place with no more pain and suffering.
