Jan Enslow

Jan L. Enslow, 50 died Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Funeral services will be held 10am Monday, October 6th at Park Avenue Presbyterian Church with burial following at Avon Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5-8pm Sunday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.
Jan was born November 20, 1957 in Des Moines and lived there most of his life with the exception of 4 years living in Indianola while he attended Simpson College. He worked for Airmark Uniforms in the sales department. As a young man, Jan achieved the order of Eagle Scout. He enjoyed sports, won a state track title and coached various team sports. He loved hunting, was a member of the NRA as well as a member of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Jan is survived by his children Bailey Enslow, and Knute Enslow; brother Marty Enslow; sister Cindy (Kelly) McAninch; ex wife Julie Ann Eisma; all of Des Moines as well as nieces and nephews.
Jan was preceded in death by his father James Enslow; his mother Maren Enslow and his sister-in-law Kathy Enslow.
