Ronald L. McWilliams

Ronald L. McWilliams, 65, of Des Moines passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House in Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 12 noon on Friday and the family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Ron had worked at Principal Financial for over 15 years and enjoyed camping and fishing. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years Karen, his mother Sarah McWilliams, his son Kenny (Jerri) McWilliams and his daughter Natalie (Rob) Broderson all of Sioux City, his step-daughter Michelle (Craig) Harwood of Des Moines, his sister Beverly (Carl) Larsen and his brother Tim (Deb) McWilliams both of Sioux City as well as 8 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth McWilliams, his sister Gloria Norton and brother Lyle McWilliams.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a donation to the Taylor House.
