Vona Nicholson

Vona Nicholson, 90, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the Bright Kavanagh House. Funeral services will be held at 9 am Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rockwell City. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Vona was born April 7, 1918 in Lohrville. She retired from Younkers.. Vona loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed her flower gardens.
Vona is survived by her daughter, Linda Nicholson of Des Moines. She is survived by her niece, Crystal Fleming and many other nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean and an infant son.
