Eunice Meader

Eunice Edna Hughlock Meader, 87, died Friday, September 19, 2008 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2008 at Mitchellville United Methodist Church, 200 2nd St NW, with burial at Jordan Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hamilton’s Mitchellville Funeral Home, 303 Center Ave South.
Eunice was born February 26, 1921 to Thomas and Bessie Smith in Valley Junction. She married Francis Hughlock in 1940 and Howard Meader in 1995. Eunice attended Mitchellville United Methodist Church.
Eunice is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Gary) Brown; grandchildren, Kevin, Christina (Steven) McDunn, Keith (Anne), Donald (Deb), and Albert; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Sandra Harmon; sister-in-law, Betty Meader; and many other relatives and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Hughlock; second husband, Howard Meader; brother, Harry; and sisters, Elizabeth and Luella.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Mitchellville United Methodist Church or the Mitchellville Rescue Unit.
