Elizabeth Renzo Acri, 98, passed away November 23, 2018 at Genesis Senior Living.
Elizabeth was born November 27, 1919 in in Des Moines to Joseph and Costanza (Leonetti) Renzo. She graduated from Lincoln High School and was a homemaker.
Elizabeth is survived by her niece, Lisa Renzo; nephews, Peter Lipovac, P.J. Renzo and Joe (Diane) Renzo; great-nieces, Juliet Smith, Maria Anderson, Anna Carlson and Alexandra Renzo; and great-nephews, Ben Renzo and Peter Renzo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Theresa; siblings, Frank, Pete, Tony, Rosie, Theresa, Dominic and Conchetta; nephew, Tony Renzo; and her nieces, Marianne Lipovac and Julianne Renzo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Road. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at Glendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Elizabeth.

Fond memories of Liz especially her imitations of Mr. Cree and the Stepperettes, Shirley Temple, Lana Turner, just to mention a few. A visit from Liz and her sister Rose always meant a fun and informative evening.
