Edward J. Lint II
November 21, 2018
Edward "Eddie" Lint, 30, passed away on November 18, 2018 after years of struggling with addiction. He was born in Des Moines on May 19, 1988 to Edward and Dee Lint.
Eddie loved sports, cars and his many dogs, especially "Bud dog", but he was most passionate about his family and friends. He loved getting together with friends for concerts, MMA fights and cook outs, he enjoyed getting out to see his niece and nephews sporting events and loved working on cars with his dad and entering a couple of those cars into the Good Guys car show.
Eddie worked many jobs including being a mechanic at Johnson and Sons, a heavy equipment operator at DeCarlo’s and was hoping to someday join the operators union.
Eddie is survived by brothers Jon (Angie), Alex (Shannon), nephews Noah and Ryder, niece Rylee, God parents Rick and Nancy Kidder as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. And of course many, MANY great friends.
Eddie is preceded in death by father, Edward and mother, Dee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Hamiltons Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the funeral home with a short grave side service at Pine Hill Cemetery following.

My deepest condolences to all who loved Eddie though our paths only crossed for the short time he was at the ARC, I will truly miss seeing him and our chats on the dock. He always made it a point to come and say hello to me. My thoughts are with you all even though I am unable to attend his services. May you find peace in knowing his struggle is over and he's at peace now. With love and hugs and prayers. Til we meet again
