Richard Carl Field, Jr.

On November 17, 2018, Ricky joined his father Richard Carl Field, Sr. in Heaven.

Richard Carl Field, Jr. was born December 26, 1986 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a loving father and loved his two boys more than anything in the world. They were his greatest accomplishment. He was a Denver Broncos, St. Louis Cardinals, and NASCAR fan and loved watching his brother and best friend MMA fight. Ricky’s mom nicknamed him “Trick” because he was always laughing, joking, and playing tricks on people. He always gave the best advice, even if he didn’t always follow it himself. He loved to sing and enjoyed country music.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Kelly Howser-Field; children, Bentley Field and Camden Field; siblings, Krystal Field, Tiffany Howser, Eric (Sarah) Howser, Nicholas Howser, Jacob Howser, Codey (Alexes) Field, Rico Field, Stephon Field and Evan Lopez; grandparents, Carl and Sylvia Field, Rowland and Connie Updike, Barb and Tom Ballas; great-grandmother, Juanita Peed; nieces, Kylee, Sophia, Mackenzie, Audrey, Addi, Sawyer and Tynleigh; best friend, Tony (Amber) Crowder; many other family members and friends; and his biological mother, Kimberlyn Field.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Richard Sr.; grandmother, Leona Field; and cousins, Richie Seals and Cody Mikesell.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 23rd at the funeral home.
