Larry C. Reynolds

Larry C. Reynolds of Norwalk was received into heaven on October 27, 2018. Larry was born on January 4, 1929 in Des Moines to Morris and Hazel (Hazelwood) Reynolds.

Larry loved dancing with mom, walking the Pacific beach, playing golf, horse shows, attending all sports with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, and playing cards with lifelong friends. Family was most important to Larry and he will be greatly missed.

Larry was a proud union member of Local #33 and had worked for the National Elevator Company for 37 years.

Larry leaves behind four children, John (Karen) Reynolds, Sally (Scott) Moore, Morris (Cathy) Reynolds and Joe (Debbie) Reynolds; nine grandchildren; 15 ½ great-grandchildren; and other loving family and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; brother, Bruce Reynolds and his parents.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2018 at North River Community Church, 5392 105th Avenue in Norwalk with a reception to follow at 12:00 p.m. at RockPower Church, 3119 SW 30th St Des Moines, Iowa. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street in Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Larry Reynolds memorial fund.
