Charles Bickel

Charles Frederick Bickel, 69, was born February 18, 1949 in Des Moines, the son of Charles and Thelma (Lankford) Bickel. He passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center.
Charlie is survived by his children, Amanda (Rob) Barrett, Richard Michael Berkey, Charles Frederick Bickel, Jr. and Joseph Carl Bickel (Amy Seyffer); grandchildren, Quinten, Dayona, Brandon, Brent and Faith; great-grandchildren, Maddison and Lola and his brother, Tom (Kay) Bickel. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will greet friends from 12pm to 1pm Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Graveside services will follow at 1:30pm at Laurel Hill Cemetery where military honors will be rendered. On-line condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com
