Kim Nong

Kim Nong, 87, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was born in Sonla, North Vietnam, on August 6, 1931.

Kim is survived by her son, Som (Thu) Luong; grandchildren, Atid Luong, Jenny (David) Cohan, Johnny Luong, Sheriva (Nat Chhuon) Luong, Daniel Luong, James (Diana) Luong; 13 great grandchildren, Kaleb, Naudya, Ethan, Kloey, Baley, Maddix, Naelyce, Dawson, Elby, Carter, Ariya, Charlotte, Nataly; her 4 legged best friend, Sophie. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pang and son, Long.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, October 29, 2018, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Inurnment will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2018 at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Memorial contributions will be received by the family.
