David R. Hohrmann

David R. Hohrmann, 49, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from a heart attack. He was born January 29, 1969 to Harry and Mary (Connor) Hohrmann in Des Moines.

David graduated from SE Polk High School in 1987 and earned his BA in Computer Graphics from Marycrest College. He worked several years at Best Buy in Urbandale and the last 17 years at Walmart in Altoona. David was a life-long and active member of Bondurant Christian where he utilized his musical talents in the choir. He was an avid musician and enjoyed singing and playing his guitar.

David is survived by his siblings, Joan (Douglas) Stone, Nancy (Antonio) Moreno, Darline Brooks, and Allen (Diane Dunlap) Hohrmann; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and other beloved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Bondurant Christian Church, 304 Grant Street S, in Bondurant, with his funeral service to follow at 6 pm at the church. He will be interred at 2 pm Friday, November 2, 2018 at Bondurant Cemetery.
