Clairmont M Paulson

Clairmont M. “Tom” Paulson, 77, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am Tuesday at Glendale Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
Clairmont was born March 31, 1931 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Clara and Ole Paulson. He retired from Western Transportation where he worked as a truck driver. Clairmont was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church as well as Teamsters Union Local 147 and the Stroke Club. He loved spending time with his family. Clairmont enjoyed his CB radio, and his handle was “The Old Norwegian”. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing scrabble.
Clairmont is survived by his wife and lifelong companion, Joyce; his children, Susan Kraack (Fred) of Coon Rapids, MN., Thomas (Debra) of Des Moines, Lynne Rhyne (Mike) of George West, TX., Cecelia (Greg Robinson) of Van Meter; his 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; his brothers, Lawrence (Filomina) of San Pedro, CA., and Orville (Janet) of Temecula, CA. Clairmont was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Bruce Allen.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to either Highland Park Presbyterian Church or Mercy Hospice.
