Margaret M. Rahn

Margaret M. Rahn, 82, of Carlisle died September 9, 2008 at Carlisle Care Center.
She was born in Cedar Rapids to Frank and Margaret Melsh February 23, 1926.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00pm Friday, September 12, 2008 at Carlisle Care
Center, 608 Cole St., Carlisle, IA.
Margaret worked as a baker for Sykora Baking Co. in Cedar Rapids. She also had worked seven years as an electrician for the Ingall’s Shipyard in MS. She was a devoted mother to her loving children.
She had many hobbies. She enjoyed gardening, needle work, and loved to play bingo.
She was a Cubs fan and an avid bowler.Margaret held memberships in the VFW and American Legion Ladies Auxillaries. She loved her faithful companion, Otis and she will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her
Margaret leaves to mourn her loving children; Johnny (Betty) Hall, Midge Bemrose, Patsy Hall, Vern Hall, Selita (Mike) Rahn and Karen (Barry)Barrett, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two siblings; Betsy and Jerry.
