Max Perryman

Max Perryman was born September 25, 1923 to C.R. and Gaynelle Perryman in Prairie City, Iowa. He died Monday evening, December 25, 2006,of a massive stroke at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.
Max was a proud WW II Army veteran having served in the Philippines and Pacific Islands. He retired from the Des Moines Water Works where he served as a chemist for many years. He excelled in math and had an artistic gift. Max grew up in Kansas and the Swan and Runnells area and loved the outdoors. He has been an Altoona resident and enjoyed meeting with the guys at Burger King.
He was a member of the Altoona Regular Baptist Church and a current resident this past year at Courtyard Estates Assisted Living in Pleasant Hill.
He was married to Ava Porter who preceded him death in 1972.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday December 28, 2006 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home with visitation begining at 12:00 Noon Thursday to service time.
Max is survived by his loving daughters: Patti Perryman of San Jose, CA and
Pam (Gary) Wilson of Altoona. He leaves three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death, along with his wife, were his parents and a brother, Herbert Perryman.
