Kenneth McKowen

Kenneth R. McKowen, 61, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at his home in Omaha. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Kenneth was born January 8, 1947 in Des Moines. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Brian; sisters, Marilyn Cook, Kathy DeCandia and Lori Vandervelde; and his brother, Dale McKowen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lura and Ralph McKowen.
