Service Details
Nicholas E. DeGard, 28, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 from a car accident near Indianola. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Leon Cemetery in Leon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Nick is survived by his mother, Elizabeth (John) Wood; grandmother, Patricia DeGard; grandparents, Lajos and Maria Zubaly; brothers, Travis, Tyler, and Anthony DeGard and Kyle McKinney; and many other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis DeGard.

Nicholas, Our hearts ache as we think of your passing...but we also rejoice knowing that that you are in the hands of Jesus. He called you home because he needed you for a great mission that our earthly eyes cannot see. You will always be in our hearts and our thoughts and we will greatly miss you.
