Service Details
Marjorie “Marge” Grell, 85, passed away August 30, 2008. Memorial services will be held at 10 am Thursday at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
Marge was born September 13, 1922 in Bridgewater, IA. To Katherine and Frank Kordick. She was a homemaker. The best words to describe Marge were mother and grandmother. She loved everyone and took anyone in. She will be missed by many.
Marge is survived by her sons, Mark (Lisa) of Ankeny, David of Des Moines, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rolson “Scottie” Grell and her daughter, Judy Kellis.

Dear Aunt Marge, a super aunt and beautiful person and friend
to everyone. The last of the 5 Kordick uncles and 6 aunts I
grew up with and were a loving family to each other and all the
nieces and nephews. Her door was always open, we shared a lot
of laughs.She was very special and I will miss her!
