Charles W. Snyder

Charles W. Snyder, 85, died at Banner Gardens Hospice Center in Mesa, AZ, June 20, 2008 with his family at his side.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 2:30 PM at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service.
Charles was born April 25, 1923 in Redfield, Iowa to Charley and Fleda Snyder. He is survived by his immediate family of his wife Levohn of almost 63 years. He was preceded in death by his son Tom Snyder on July 13, 2006. Daughter-in-law Nancy Snyder of Des Moines, their son Bill (Tiff) Snyder and their two sons Hunter and A.J. Daughter Nadine Guzman from Tucson, AZ. Nadine’s daughter Jenny Villa, of Tucson and her four children Garrick, Dallas, Sierra, And Dodger. Nadine’s son Butch Pietsch resides in Yuma, AZ.
Charles also leaves his sister Oleta (Bob) Bandy of Perry, Darlene Coleman of Redfield, sister Vera (Curt) Buckley of Des Moines, brother Ralph Snyder of Adel, step granddaughter Robin LaBuschagne her children Brent, Deidre and Mariah and many nieces and nephews. His sisters, Beth Keltner, Lola Peters, and Pauline Milbourn preceded him in death.
