Joan Hamilton

Joan Hamilton, 67, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Joan was born November 24, 1940 in Chicago. She was a clerical worker for the Visiting Nurses. Joan lived in Des Moines since 1963. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her family. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and won lawn of the year.
Joan is survived by her children, Glenn, Scott, Craig and Nikki Hamilton and Cristy Stout; her grandchildren, Kelli, Dale Jr., Courtnie, Paul David, Heather, Alex, Abby, Phillip, Billy, Hunter, Autumn, Jacob, Haley, Brianna, Billy, Josh and Jared; and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Dale.
