Larry F. Karlzen, 56, of Boone, formerly of Des Moines, passed away at the Boone County Hospital on August 27, 2008. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Larry worked as a security officer and is survived by his children Debbie (Ronnie) Lewis of Des Moines, Dean (Jeannette) Karlzen of Newton and Nathan Karlzen, 8 grandchildren and his friend Wanda.
