Wesley and Judy combined families and called them all “ours.” Eventually this included twelve grandchildren – Ajah, Devon, Queden, Zayveon, Selene, Gannon, Sierra, Haley (Mike), Trey, Sammy and Brandon. He had five great-grandchildren, Isabella, Mya, Jace, Abriella and Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Alice and Harold Winterbottom, brothers-in-law, Rick Rynning, Larry Gilbert and Harley Rynning, and sister-in-law, Helen Tolbert. He is survived by his wife, Judy, his four daughters, Brieanne (Leon) Ballew, Marissa (Vern) Willey, Holly Thayer, and Brooke Thayer, twelve grandchildren, five great-granchildren, three brothers, Rick (Karen), Brad (Cyndi) and Scott (Kristin) Winterbottom, sisters-in-law, Gwen (Galen) Kurth, Dene Trulson, Ellen Rynning, Julie Watford, and Pat Thayer, as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Wesley is also survived by his first father, Wesley Caliger, brothers, Steve (Marie) and Dave Caliger, sisters, Amy (Dave) Ferron and Molly Caliger, aunt, Shirley Forrest, countless friends, three cats and a parrot. Wesley often expressed how truly blessed his life was.

Brieanne and family,
I am so sorry for your loss! Ive so enjoyed getting to know your dad over the years and watch so many games of Queden and Taryn with him! He always had a smile on his face and was so kind! And he always had encouraging and supportive words for Taryn! We are all going to miss him! So glad he saw me and stopped and said hi at the east homecoming game this year! Love you all!

Judy and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Wes. He seemed like such a sweet man. You have had a great deal of loss in your life, but remember God is a God of comfort. You remain my dearest friend. Love, Sheila

My sincere heartfelt sympathy goes out to Wes's family. I went to Easton Place Methodist Church with Wes and his family as kids. We attended our Methodist Youth Fellowship there from 1963- probably around 1967. We went on to graduate from East High school- Class of 1970. Wes as always a great friend and nice guy. I got to see him probably 3 or 4 years ago when some of our classmates got together.
Heaven just gained a great angel and we lost a good classmate, friend here on earth.
