I first met Ruth 50 years ago, when I worked for Ron at the Cedar Falls store. I was in college at the time, later making Hy-Vee a full time career decision. Ruth and Ron treated everyone in that store like family, not employees, and she was always a classy person to be around. My heart goes out to you, Ron, and to your entire family! May you cherish the memory of a special lady!

We planted beautiful Iris bulbs today in Ruths honor that will bloom this spring in our Florida yard.
A long legacy of many caring actions that have blessed so many.
I am delighted to have been called your friend.
It was a joy to see you at Bible Study each week.
