Ruth was one of my families dearest friends and one of my mom's closest confidants. She made everything alright just by being there and her presence made you strive to be a better person. Just as she is. The generosity of Ron towards Ruth's close friend will never be put aside or forgotten. We love you and our prayers are yours.

We are so saddened by the passing of Ruth and the loss her Family will be having at this time. I went to SJA with Ruth for a couple years and she always had a great smile on her face and easy to know. We also were neighbors with the Piersons for a few years when their children were in school and they were great neighbors. Rest In Peace Ruth, you will be truly missed.. .

We are saddened to hear of Ruth's passing. We first met her when we worked for Ron at the Cedar Falls Hy-Vee in the mid 60's. It was a pleasure to have known her for the next 40 plus years of my Hy-Vee career. She will be missed. Sympathies to you, Ron, and your family.

The loss of a loved one is a very sad and heavy load to bare. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our creator, Jehovah God. Pour out your heart to him in prayer, because "he cares for you."(1 Peter 5:7) Also, in the near future, God promises to resurrect the dead. (John 5:28,29) We can have faith in what God says because "he cannot lie."(Titus 1:2) Please accept my deepest sympathy.
