Robert W. Foster

Robert William Foster, age 59, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 due to a long battle with multiple cancers. Rob was born on December 25, 1959 in Des Moines, Iowa to John Foster and Margaret (Juhl) Foster.

He worked as primary technical support for SuperFlow Technology. Rob loved spending time with his family. He had a special bond with children and his lap was the favorite of all family pets throughout the years. In his free time Rob enjoyed flying, especially his 1938 Taylorcraft.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Candice Foster; his sons, John “Zeke” Foster and Frank Foster (Ana Abraham); his parents, John and Margaret Foster; and his older siblings, Kate Wolf, Karin Foster, and Mark Foster.

Rob has selflessly given the gift of anatomical donation to the University of Iowa Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
