Jeffrey Edward Lee
October 03, 2018
Jeffrey Edward Lee, 77, passed away at home on October 3, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Jeff was born on December 25, 1940 in Detroit, MI to Grace M. (Ye) and Chite Shaw Lee. He worked in the automotive industry the majority of his career as an Automotive Designer. Jeff retired from Chrysler in 1995 for medical reasons.
He married Nancy Gail Graham in 1968. She was taken by his smile and sense of humor and the couple celebrated 50 years of marriage this past May. Theirs was an active life, raising their family in the Michigan countryside of Hartland. They enjoyed camping, canoeing, catching frogs, playing cards and games, raising chickens, and spending time with Jeff’s beloved dogs. Jeff also enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and coaching the softball teams of his daughters. He was a Worshipful Master of the Masons Palestine Lodge #357 in Detroit, MI and served as treasurer. He also served as secretary for his bowling league. With Jeff’s declining health, the couple moved to Iowa in 2015 for a more manageable lifestyle.
Jeff will be greatly missed by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Kerrie Lee (Rob Vasiloff) and Tracy (Jeffrey) Featherston; grandchildren, Brendan and Jacob Vasiloff, and Abigail Featherston; his siblings, Gordon (Karen) Lee, Judy (Dan) Coates, Larry Lee, and Sharon (Dan) Manquen; nephews, Kelly, Derek, Chris, Ryan, Darren, Aaron and Luke; and nieces, Denise, Dawn, Renee, April and Rani.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at a later date in Michigan. Condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

Jeff was a great friend and Mason from Palestine Lodge. I'm so sad to hear of his passing. He was such an outstanding person who would give a hand to anyone if needed. Palestine Christmas Parties were always fun! He loved seeing all the kids and socializing with his friends and Brothers. Prayers from Michigan...
