1992 ~ Brian Keith Wheels ~ 2018
Brian K. Wheels was born June 25, 1992 in Des Moines, Iowa to Collett Butts and Brian Wheels. It was here where the seeds of hard work and love of family were sown.
Brian attended Hoover High School and later obtained his G.E.D. He held numerous jobs and was employed at Cintas at the time of his death. He was truly a one of a kind guy. His love for family was evident in all of his relatives near and far. He had a smile a mile long and a heart as big and warm as the brightest sunset. Through good times and bad he was always smiling and finding humor. Brian loved spending time with family and friends, singing, dancing, listening to music and playing video games. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his sister Kelsey and his many best friends. He was a devoted son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. His smile and laugh could brighten any room. He respected his elders and had faith in God to cover him always.
Brian departed this life on Wednesday September 26, 2018 surrounded by family. He is now at rest with his father Brian Wheels, paternal grandmother Barbara Wheels and cousin Kayla Butts. Those left to cherish and celebrate his memories are: his mother Collett and stepfather Michael Banks, sister Kelsey Butts, maternal grandmother Paulette Butts, paternal grandfather Robert Wheels, bonus grandparents Jean and Wayne Butler and Wanda and Rick Terrell, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Services will be held at Maple Street Baptist Church, 1552 Maple Street, Des Moines on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Family invites guest back to the church for a luncheon after the burial.

The loss of a loved one is a very sad and heavy load to bare. The best friend a bereaved person can have is our creator, Jehovah God. Pour out your heart to him in prayer, because "he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) Also, in the near future, God promises to resurrect the dead. (John 5:28,29) We can have faith in what God says because "he cannot lie." (Titus 1:2) Please accept my deepest sympathy.
