Cleo Ann Eby, 98, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines. She was born February 13, 1920 in Clay Center, Kansas to William and Edith (Griffin) Remington. She married Donald Eugene Eby, Jr. in Bloomfield, Iowa, where they lived together before moving to Des Moines.
Cleo served in the United States Army from 1943-1946 as a registered nurse. Her entire career was spent caring for others. She loved to spend time outdoors, especially tending to her flowers and watching birds.
She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Eby; Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Donald; daughter, Donna; and brothers, Maurice and Bill.
Per Cleo’s request, no services will be held.

Sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the Bible at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
