Nancy Oldes, 67, passed away September 20, 2018 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

Nancy was born October 8, 1950 to Thomas and Naomi (Sales) Gilliam in Des Moines, Iowa.

She graduated from East High School. She married Harold Oldes in Mitchellville on September 18th 1998 for 20 years this year.

Nancy worked for Colonial Bakery as a baker for roughly 5 years.

In Nancy’s free time she enjoyed spending quality time with her granddaughter’s and her husband Harold, quilting, and taking care of her many animals.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Harold; son, Steve Gilliam; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her 3 sisters, and 1 brother

A graveside service will be held at Saturday September 29th, 2018 at 11 A.M. (at Highland Memory Gardens, 1 NE 60th Ave, Des Moines.
