Linda Joy Myers, 67, was called home by the Lord on September 22, 2018, at Mosaic Group Home in Des Moines, IA. She was born in Des Moines on November 17, 1950 to Doris and Robert L. Myers.
Linda moved to Mosaic Group Home in 2003 after her mother passed. She enjoyed her house mates, listening to Pat Boone CDs, car rides, and attending church.
Linda is survived by her sister, Sheila (Larry) Cheevers, her brother, Richard (Ilene) Johnson, 4 nephews and 1 niece, as well as other loving family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, from 10-11 a.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In loving memory of Linda, memorial contributions may be directed to the Mosaic Home, 11141 Aurora Ave. #3, Urbandale, Iowa 50322.

To Sheila and family, our deepest sympathies at this time. We enjoyed getting to know Linda over the years and will miss seeing and hearing her around the house. We hope you can continue to be a 'house angel' and drop in sometimes. (I'm sure your car will be heading that way anyway!)
