Donald E. Stout, 74, passed away at his home September 10, 2018.
Donald was born August 27, 1944 in Centerville, Iowa to Edmond and Mary (Phelps) Stout. He retired in 1985 from DART where he had been a bus driver for 14 years. Donald was a member of A.T.U. 441.
Donald is survived by his children, Greg Stout (Lorrie) and Rebecca Stout; stepchildren, Terrie Webb, Patrick Walters (Sandra), Michael Walters (Tracey) and Kimberly Broders (Kevin); brother, Glen (Ruth) Stout; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 17th at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the John Stoddard Cancer Center Oncology Navigation Team.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one Mr. Donald Stout, I send my condolences to the entire family. Our Lord Jesus gives us comfort, He promised in John 5:25-29, "....the hour is coming when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God....and come out to a resurrection of life."

You are in my prayers during these difficult days. I have fond memories of my talks with Don during the long waiting days we had together. I learned to love all the family and each one has memories with me.
