I was so hopeful that Jerry would win this battle. I admire all of you for your encouragement and love that you gave endlessly to heal his spirit during his struggle. It is hard to accept that a greater power has called him home. I know the pain of loss that all of you are feeling and I am so sorry we are powerless to change it. May God be with all of you in your sorrow.

To the family, when someone is such a pillar in your life, it hurts so much more My memories of him will be his enjoyment of fishing at my pond, and not caring if he caught anything and the smile on his face....he will truly be missed!

Lost is always hard to take.(John 11:33). Jehovah gives us comfort that we may be able to handle the lost we experience.(Romans 15:4, 2 Corinthians 1:4) May you seek comfort from the scriptures and the peace that surpasses all understanding from Jehovah God.
