Eleanor Dingeman

Eleanor Ruth Dingeman, 71, of Des Moines, passed away at Iowa Methodist Medical Center on August 20, 2008. A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with burial at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. Family and friends are invited to a reception following the services at the Park Fleur Condos.
Eleanor was a life long resident of Des Moines. She married Donald Dingeman on July 9, 1954. They enjoyed 54 years together. She was employed at Younkers as a bookkeeper for 25years. Most recently she was the bookkeeper for the Park Fleur Condos. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her four grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Dingemen; son, Steven (Jana) Dingeman; daughter, Julie (Craig) Davis; four grandchildren, Janina Dingeman, Craig Davis, Adam Dingeman and Matthew Davis.
