Nawazish Ali, age 72, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, surrounded by his loving family following a long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Nawazish was born the son of Mohammad Ibrahim and Miraj Begum on May 9, 1946 in Lahore, Pakistan.

Nawazish was a CPA who helped many individuals with their small business and tax needs for more than 30 years. He was respected and loved by people around the world and will be missed by many.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 44 years, Frances Ali; children, Amina Ali, Mohammad Jamil Ali, Mohammad Rashid Ali and Mohammad Azim Ali; 5 grandchildren; and many extended family members.

Nawazish was preceded in death by both parents and several other family members.

Nawazish was laid to rest at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines. Prayer followed at Ezan Masjid.
