August 19, 2018
Jacqueline Sult, 43, passed away on August 19, 2018, in Ankeny. She was born in Galesburg, IL on January 8, 1975.
Jacqueline graduated from Ankeny High School and attended AIB in Des Moines. She married Brian Sult on March 28, 1998. They grew up as kids together and built a life and family together. They recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in Key West, one of the family’s favorite vacation places. Brian’s special name for Jacqueline was Jackie Sue.
Jacqueline worked as an executive assistant to James Slebiska, the District Vice President at the International Brotherhood of Carpenters. She was also the executive assistant to her husband at their business ETECH Solutions. Jacqueline and her daughter, Mackenzie shared a love of critters (any animals). Together, they spent time in the barn with the horses, Myra and Zeph, the ducks, peacocks and their cats, Indy, Penny and Bella, and dog, Suzie. As well as the chickens, Tappy and Jackie, who was actually named by Jacqueline’s friends and family who thought that the chicken was very sweet and kind and had great hair.
Much of her time was also spent with the Freedom Riders 4H group, where she was very active in serving as Co-Leader and making shirts and dresses for the girls. Jackie enjoyed spending time with her barn family, and Jen, a great friend of hers, along with many other of her great friends. Jacqueline enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Bow-Tie Quilt Club. She had a kindness about her, being there for anybody who needed help and could always make you laugh. Her fun loving personality and huge heart will be missed by all who knew her. Above all, Jacqueline loved spending time with her husband and daughter.
Jacqueline is survived by her loving husband, Brian Sult and daughter Mackenzie Sult of Ankeny; mother, Elizabeth Lucas of Polk City; father, Fred (Joyce) Andrews of Galesburg, IL; mother-in-law, Colleen Sult of Des Moines; father-in-law, Dennis (Paula) Sult of Ankeny; sister, Tina (John) Reinhardt of Princeton, IL; brother, Freddy (Diane) Andrews of Abingdon, IL; sister-in-law, Heather (Heath) Van Gorp of Pella; step-sister, Jody Osgood of Galesburg, IL; nieces and nephews, Jacob, Joshua, Jamison, Jordan, Lucas, Kayann, Nick and Madison. Mac,
My heart is broken for you. Your mom was the kindest, most loving person and she touched so many people. It's not fair you didn't get more time with her. Remember to cherish the time you spent with her in the barn and all of the wonderful memories. It is okay to be sad, to be angry, and yes even laugh at times as you reflect back on all of those memories. Whatever you feel, allow yourself to feel, and know that you have so many wonderful people in your life to lean on. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Dad.

Our condolences and prayers are with the Sult Family. So sorry for your sudden loss of a dear love one. This wonderful passage found in Isaiah 25:8 and jw .org can bring comfort during this difficult time. Where our creator promises to end death forever and reunite us with our love ones again in the near future.
