Richard Lee Fees

Richard Lee Fees, 77, died Sunday, July19, 2008. Richard was born December 29, 1930 in Des Moines to Clifton and Bernice Fees. Richard resided in Gardnerville, Nevada.
Richard was the last and the youngest of 7 children. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He worked for Finestead Enterprises in Granger, Iowa throughout the 1960s and 70s before leaving Des Moines. At the time of his death, he was the resident manager for Acme Boat and RV Storage in Nevada.
Mr. Fees is survived by his wife, Gayle; son, Richard Lee Fees Jr. of Des Moines; stepdaughter and her husband, Lisa and Jerry Moya and their son, Alex; many grandchildren and great grandchildren in Iowa and Nevada as well as many nieces and nephews around the country.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Polk City Cemetery in Polk City, Iowa.
