Linda Gail Moon

Linda Gail Moon, 72, passed away August 6, 2018. Services will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lutheran Church of Hope, 925 Jordan Creek Parkway in West Des Moines.
Linda was born on February 21, 1946 in Des Moines, IA to Dorothy (Neighbor) and Luther Sutherland. In 1963 she married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Moon. Besides raising her beloved family, Linda worked in administration for DMOS Orthopaedic Centers for many years until her retirement. She was active in the Red Hat Club and a former member of Grace Baptist Church. The couple also had a home at Lake Panorama for over 20 years.
Linda’s love lives on in her husband of 55 years, Kenny Moon; her son, Danny (Dia) Moon; grandchildren, Lindsey Moon, Kelsey (Garrett) Arganbright, Joshua (Cacia) Moon, and Jacob Moon; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Bria; special cousin, Pete Rounds; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her son, David Moon; her parents; and her siblings, Richard Sutherland and Sharon Mullen.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Des Moines Police Burial Fund or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

Linda was such a sweet lady. I'm so glad I got to know Linda and her family when they lived across the street from us on S.W. 2nd. My sympathy to the family for their loss.

Kenny and Danny, So sorry to hear of Linda's passing. Seems like yesterday I chatted with you at Gary's visitation. We go back a long way together. Please accept my sincerest condolences. Sadly I will be attending, as my sister-in-law's funeral Friday morning. I will not be able to attend. Open wide and receive the Peace of Christ.

Kenny I am so sad to hear the loss of Linda.Jeri and I still talk about the fun we had with everyone on the credit union cruise. We just met Linda a couple of times. From those moments we found you cant help but love her.Our hearts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.
