David Faupel

Dave Faupel, 47, died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Bright Kavanagh House. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, with burial at Altoona Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Dave was born May 12, 1961 to Marvin and Jean Faupel in Des Moines. He was a mail insert operator for 15 years at Wells Fargo Financial. Dave had a passion for music, fishing, and especially his children.
Dave is survived by his children, Tyler and Kati Faupel; mother, Jean Faupel of Altoona; brother, Steven (Shari) Faupel of Colfax; sister, Susan (Jamie Villani) Cottle of Pennsylvania; former spouse and friend, Tracey Haifley; best friend, Doug Power; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews; and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; Marvin Faupel.
Memorial contributions may be given to Blank Children’s Hospital.
